What is the difference between an advisor and a fractional marketing director?
An advisor helps you make the right decisions. You remain responsible for your marketing.
A fractional marketing director takes on its strategic direction within a defined scope: setting priorities, directing investments and guiding the people responsible for carrying them out.
The difference lies in the level of responsibility, not simply in the number of hours.
How can you understand our business as an outsider?
I don’t claim to know your company better than you do.
You bring the knowledge of your products, your clients and your market. I bring the distance and the marketing expertise to turn that knowledge into decisions.
My experience in industry, sales and product management lets me understand your challenges beyond communication alone.
We already work with an agency. What more do you bring?
An agency delivers services. You still need to know which ones are necessary, in what order and for what objectives.
My role is to help you make these choices, assess proposals and direct your investments.
I don’t replace your suppliers. I make sure their work serves a shared strategy.
Will you also carry out our marketing actions?
No. My role is to define the strategy and guide its implementation, not to replace your team or your agency.
I can steer projects, review proposals and support trade-offs. Content creation, campaigns and other operational tasks remain with the people responsible for carrying them out.
Are fifteen hours a month enough to direct our marketing?
Yes, for a focused strategic engagement, provided your company already has the resources to execute.
These hours go to priorities, decisions, guidance and tracking results, not to managing day-to-day operations.
We agree on a realistic scope together before we start. If your needs call for a permanent presence, I will tell you.
How do I know whether this investment is worth it?
It all starts with your objectives: defending your prices better, developing a market, improving your offer or investing more effectively.
We define the relevant indicators and track the decisions taken to make progress.
I don’t promise guaranteed growth. I bring experienced expertise to reduce decisions made blind and to make better use of your resources.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. Calls, strategy sessions and follow-up can all take place remotely.
On-site meetings can also be arranged in French-speaking Switzerland when the engagement calls for it, under terms agreed in advance.
Do I have to commit long term?
Not necessarily.
Strategic Advisor starts with a two-month commitment. The Tailored Strategic Plan is a six-week engagement, with no obligation to continue. Fractional Marketing Direction has a minimum commitment of three months.
You know the price, the scope and the length of your commitment before we start.
What happens during the first call?
For thirty minutes, we talk about your company, your objectives and the decisions on your mind.
I ask you a few questions to understand your situation and tell you frankly whether I can help, and in what form.
The call is free, with no commitment and no endless sales pitch.
Do you work in English?
Yes. Meetings and documents can be in English or French.
